Tri-tip steak is a larger triangular cut of beef from the bottom sirloin. Known as a California cut, Santa Maria steak, Newport steak, triangle steak, and bottom sirloin butt. Tri-tip is lean and boneless with great marbling. Tri-tip is often compared to a New York strip in terms of flavor and texture. Great for sharing with a larger group. Avg 2 lbs
